We encourage submissions that use theoretical, empirical or experimental approaches to understand the impact of financial market innovation, openness and its implications on risk management at the macro and micro level. While not exhaustive, the following list suggests possible topics that would be appropriate to address:
The intended and unintended consequences of financial market innovation.
The cost and benefit of financial market openness.
The impact of technology on financial market innovation.
Government regulation on financial market innovation.
The effect of market openness on corporate financial policies.
The effect of market openness on the market quality such as transparency and liquidity.
The implications and effect of financial market innovation on corporate risk management decisions.
The change of corporate risk management incentives as a result of financial market openness.
The effect of financial market innovation on corporate innovation.

Journal Publication Opportunities:
As the conference supporting journal, International Review of Economics and Finance invites conference participants to submit their paper for potential publication. All papers will be double-blind refereed in the standard way. Acceptance to the conference does not guarantee publication. Detailed submission instructions will be provided after the conference is concluded. A final decision is expected to be made by December 2020.
