School of Finance Successfully Holds 2025 Training Lecture on Library Resources Access and Utilization for International Students
At 9:00 on October 14th, the School of Finance held a special training lecture themed "Access and Utilization of Library Resources" in Conference Room 408, South Wenquan Building. The lecture was targeted at master's and doctoral international students of the school from the 2023, 2024, and 2025 cohorts.
Participants in this event included Gu Lulu, leader of the International Students Tutor Group of the School of Finance, Feng Jie, director of the Consultation Department of the University Library, Sapong Francis Atta, an international student from the 2022 cohort, and Zhang Qi, a postgraduate student majoring in Management Science and Engineering from the 2023 cohort.

At the beginning of the lecture, Professor Gu Lulu emphasized the irreplaceable role of library resources in academic research. She encouraged students to actively utilize various resources to lay a solid foundation for their academic development.

Subsequently, Ms. Feng Jie systematically introduced the library's various services in full English. The content covered the library overview, book borrowing and returning procedures, and the usage methods of various databases. She also provided detailed answers and guidance to the questions raised by international students.

Immediately after, Sapong Francis Atta, an international student from the School of Finance, and postgraduate student Zhang Qi respectively explained the practical applications of EndNote and Wind Database, and conducted on-site operation demonstrations.


This lecture effectively promoted international students' in-depth understanding and efficient utilization of library resources, further enhancing their learning and research capabilities.
