Dean Yu Minggui

Born in 1974, from Chengdu, Sichuan, member of the Communist Party of China, professor, doctoral supervisor.

Graduated in 2004 from Huazhong University of Science and Technology with a doctorate in management. He left the post-doctoral mobile station of control science and engineering at Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2007. Since 2007, he has been teaching at the School of Economics and Management, Wuhan University. In 2010, he was exceptionally selected as a doctoral supervisor and was promoted to professor at the end of the same year. In 2011, he was selected as the leader of the Post-70s academic team in humanities and social sciences at Wuhan University. From 2013-2014, he served as a visiting scholar at the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University. Since June 2019, he has been serving as the Dean of the School of Finance at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law.

Research direction: Corporate finance.

Party Secretary Wang Ping

Born in December 1966, from Wangjiang, Anhui, member of the Communist Party of China, researcher.

Graduated in 1990 from Zhongnan University of Politics and Law with a Bachelor of Laws degree; obtained a Master of Laws degree in 2004 from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law. From July 1990 to August 2000, he worked in the Law Department of Zhongnan University of Politics and Law, serving as the Director of the Student Affairs Office of the Law Department and the Secretary of the Youth League Committee of the Law Department. From August 2000 to April 2002, he was the Deputy Secretary of the Youth League Committee of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law. From April 2002 to October 2006, he served as the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and the Secretary of the Student Party Branch of the College of Public Security at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law. From October 2006 to December 2012, he was the Secretary of the Party Branch and Deputy Director of the Library at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law. From December 2012 to October 2019, he served as the Director of the Career Guidance and Service Center at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law. From October 2019 to September 2020, he was the Director of the United Front Work Department of the Party Committee at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law. Since September 2020, he has been serving as the Party Secretary of the School of Finance at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law.

Research directions: Higher education management, ideological and political education, college student career guidance.

Vice Dean Li Jianhua

Born in October 1971, from Zhenyuan, Gansu, member of the Communist Party of China, associate professor, master's supervisor.

Graduated in 1994 from Zhongnan University of Finance and Economics with a Bachelor's degree in Investment Economics and Management; obtained a Master's degree in Industrial Economics (Real Estate Economics) in 2003 and a Ph.D. in National Economics (Investment Economics) in 2010, both from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law. Promoted to associate professor in 2006 and selected as a master's supervisor in 2008. After graduating in 1994, he stayed at the university and has been teaching in the Investment Department ever since, engaging in teaching and research activities in securities investment. He has served as the head of a teaching and research office, deputy head and head of the department. Currently, he is the Vice Dean of the School of Finance at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, the leader of the Master's Supervisors Group in Investment, and the person in charge of undergraduate program construction in Investment. He also serves as a director of the China Investment Association and the deputy secretary-general of the Investment Discipline Construction Committee of the China Investment Association.

Research directions: Investment science, capital markets and securities investment, investment theory and practice.

Vice Dean Lü Yongbin

Born in March 1978, from Ezhou, Hubei, member of the Communist Party of China, professor, doctoral supervisor.

Graduated from Huazhong Agricultural University in June 2000 with a bachelor's degree in Trade Economics; obtained a Ph.D. in Management in June 2005 (integrated master's and doctoral program) from Huazhong Agricultural University; received a postdoctoral in Applied Economics from the Chinese Academy of Fiscal Sciences in March 2015. From November 2014 to November 2015, he served in Qinghai as a part of the 15th batch of the Doctoral Service Group. Promoted to associate professor in 2010 and to professor in 2018. Currently, he is the Vice Dean of the School of Finance at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, Deputy Director of the Digital Technology and Modern Finance Discipline Innovation and Intelligence Introduction Base, Deputy Director of the Hubei Provincial Collaborative Innovation Center for Industrial Upgrading and Regional Finance, Deputy Dean of the Western Yunnan Financial Research Institute, and Secretary of the Third Batch of National Model Party Branch for Party Building Work. Main social positions: Director of the China Society for Quantitative Economics, Executive Director of the Financial Technology Committee of the Chinese Society of Technical Economics, and a member of the Young Committee of the Top 50 in Chinese Financial Technology Education and Research.

Research directions: Inclusive finance, financial technology.

Born in January 1986, native of Gong’an, Hubei Province, member of the Communist Party of China.
